Fond du Lac Chapter of Fishing Has No Boundaries announces 2025 Summer Event

The Fond du Lac Chapter of Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB) is proud to announce the return of its annual summer event, set for August 23 and 24, 2025, on Oven Island, on the beautiful shores of Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac.

This inspiring event is dedicated to opening the outdoors—and the joy of fishing—to individuals of all ages with physical and cognitive disabilities. Over the course of two days, participants will enjoy fully accessible fishing experiences from both boats and the shoreline, all supported by a team of enthusiastic volunteers and community partners.

“Fishing Has No Boundaries is more than just a day on the lake,” Tracy Qualmann, Co-Chair, said. “It’s about providing freedom, fun, and fellowship to people who may not otherwise have access to these experiences.”

Individuals who wish to participate in this event are asked to complete a registration form. To receive one, please call 920.579.5958 or email fdlfhnb@gmail.com.

The Fond du Lac Chapter is currently also seeking:

  • Volunteers to help with setup, fishing assistance, hospitality, boat operation, and more.
  • Monetary donations to support equipment, meals, and event logistics.
  • In-kind contributions such as raffle items, bottled water, bait, sunscreen, and other supplies.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler, a boat owner, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, there’s a place for you at this year’s event.

Fishing Has No Boundaries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with chapters across the nation, working to promote inclusive recreational opportunities in the great outdoors.
