Fond du Lac City and County Government Announce Holiday Hours

The Fond du Lac City and County have announced holiday hours for Christmas and New Years.

City offices in the City/County Government Center will close at noon on Friday December 23rd and Friday December 30th and will be closed all day on Monday December 26th and Monday January 2nd.

The Municipal Service Center will close at 11:00 AM on December 23rd and December 30th and will be closed all day on December 26th and January 2nd.

Garbage and recycling will be collected as normal on Friday the 23rd. Garbage pick-up for Monday customers on both the 26th and 2nd will take place on Tuesdays of those weeks, one day later than normal pick-up. Recycling will not change and will still be picked up on those Mondays. It is asked that you have your materials set out by 5:00 AM to accommodate the holiday hours on these dates.

Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.

Fond du Lac Area Transit will operate until noon on both Fridays the 23rd and 30th and will be closed all day on the 26th and January 2nd. For more information go to the Fond du Lac Area Transit’s Facebook page.

The Senior Center will be closed on December 23rd, 26th, 30th and January 2nd and the Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on December 24th and December 25th for the Christmas holiday, and will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st.

As always, The Fond du Lac City Police, County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Departments will be operating as usual throughout the holidays.
