At about 1:15 a.m., the reporting person called 911 saying they were stopped in traffic in the northbound lanes of 41 right at County Highway N. At that location, the sheriff’s office said the highway was restricted to one lane due to being in a construction zone.

Multiple deputies responded northbound attempting to locate the vehicle. They eventually caught up to The suspect vehicle, driven by a 26-year-old man from Missouri, in Winnebago County near Highway 76 on the north side of Oshkosh.

After pulling over near County GG, the driver got out and lay on the ground, initially not being compliant with officers commands.

He was eventually taken into custody, denying ever having a firearm.

He consented to a search of his vehicle; and no firearm was located. He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
