Fond du Lac County Woman Sentenced In Overdose Homicide

A Fond du Lac County woman found guilty of reckless homicide and 8 other felonies after a five day jury trial back in June was sentenced yesterday in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court.

Carla Endeward was sentenced by Judge Douglas Edelstein to 11 ½ years of initial confinement and 16 years of extended supervision for her role in the fentanyl drug death of her husband and three other fentanyl overdoses that didn’t result in death.

According to the criminal complaint, on March 5th of 2020, four people were reported to be overdosing at a Ripon residence with one ultimately dying. Endeward had taken her non-breathing pulseless husband to the emergency room but medical staff at the hospital were unable to revive him.

At the time of the death Endeward was on probation for manufacture/delivery of heroin.

A jury convicted Endeward for assisting in the setting up of drug deals, through phone calls, and allowing others to use drugs and overdose in her residence.
