Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Responds To Bull Pen Bar For Fire In Upstairs Living Area

At 10 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Department was dispatched for a working fire in the upstairs living area above the Bull Pen Bar on 9th Street at Liberty Street in the City of Fond du Lac.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the roof and flames in an upstairs window.

Crews quickly entered the structure and knocked the flames down.

It was reported that three dogs may have been in the structure at the time of the fire. It is unknown if they were in the building or what their condition may be. A statement from the fire department simply stated that some pets died in the fire.

Members of the department are investigating to see what may have caused the blaze.
