Fond du Lac High School’s Youth In Government Team Get Real World Experience In State Capitol

The Fond du Lac High School’s Youth in Government delegation had the opportunity to participate in a statewide model government conference in Madison this weekend where they got the chance to argue court cases in the State Supreme Court, propose bills in the State Senate and Assembly Chambers, and create media posts documenting the experience.

Fond du Lac High School Junior, Landiran Kern, Jr., was honored with the “Outstanding Delegate” award for his work in the Supreme Court.

The group says sponsors such as the Fond du Lac Bar Association, Fond du Lac Pizza Ranch, the Colwin Family, as well as Fond du Lac High School, and Fond du Lac High School Youth in Government delegation director and teacher, Molly Carney, made the trip possible.
