Fond du Lac Man Accidentally Shoots Self

The Fond du Lac Police Department as well as Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to a report of a man that had accidentally shot himself Friday, December 30, 2022.

The incident occurred at the Countryside Village Apartments in the 800 block of Security Drive just before 9 PM.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 48-year-old man with a 9mm gunshot wound to his hand.

He was transported to SSM/St Agnes Hospital with a non life threatening injury.

The incident remains under investigation by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department.
