Fond du Lac man and woman arrested for drugs and weapons offenses after traffic stop
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has released details of a drugs and weapon arrest that resulted from a traffic stop in the City of Fond du Lac back on November 25th, 2024.
A deputy had pulled a vehicle over in the area of Pioneer Road and South Main Street for several equipment violations. While the driver had no criminal record, it was found that the passenger had an extensive record with drugs and weapons dating back to 2001. Because of this, a police K9 was called to do an open air sniff around the car, and the dog alerted to the presence of drugs.
Police searched the vehicle and found nine crack pipes, eleven push rods, a scale with cocaine residue, bowls with crack cocaine residue, and glass beakers which contained a white residue inside and believed to being used to manufacture “crack” cocaine, as well as other articles related to drug paraphernalia. In the vehicle’s glove box, a loaded .380 handgun, with a chambered round was found.
The female driver was arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On the way to the jail, she stated that she had a large amount of cocaine concealed inside of her. Upon arrival at the Fond du Lac County Jail, staff was able to recover approximately 28 grams of cocaine from her person. Because of this, She was additionally charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place.
The male passenger was arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and violation of probation.
