Fond du Lac man captured after Oshkosh Homicide

The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred inside of Menominee Park, 1200 block of E. Irving Ave, in the City of Oshkosh.

On July 5, 2025 at approximately 11:00 PM, Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of E. Irving Avenue. Once on scene, officers discovered that the adult male driver had suffered multiple stab wounds and was deceased.

Upon further investigation, Officers discovered that there was a physical altercation that took place between several individuals that had gathered inside of Menominee Park. The physical altercation escalated which resulted in one adult male being stabbed.

A suspect vehicle description was given to Fond du Lac County and it was spotted by a Flock camera heading south on Lakeshore Drive into Fond du Lac County.

At 2:16 a.m. the vehicle was spotted parked at a residence in the 100 block of east Johnson Street by a City of Fond du Lac Police Officer.

Law enforcement from the City and County of Fond du Lac as well as a State Patrol Trooper surrounded the house, watching it until Oshkosh officials got on scene. At that time they made contact with the suspect.

A 19 year old male from Fond Du Lac was taken to jail for 1st degree intentional homicide. The Oshkosh Police Department would like to thank the Fond Du Lac Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
