Fond du Lac Police, Fire/Rescue Respond To Park Avenue Crash

City of Fond du Lac Police are investigating a crash that occurred at the intersection of Park Avenue and Rose Avenue Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

At about 4:15 in the afternoon, police and Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash with one of the drivers being unconscious.

Positioning of the vehicles showed both were driving south on Park when the first vehicle slowed to turn on Rose and was rear-ended by the second vehicle.

Damage to the vehicles was not consistent to that that would injure a person to the extent of causing them to go unconscious so police are investigating the crash as if alcohol or drugs may have come into play as the cause of the crash.

In total, 2 ambulance were called to the scene. One for the unconscious person in the striking vehicle and another for a neck injury in the vehicle that was struck.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
