Fond du Lac Police helping to battle crime that may move in with major local events

With EAA AirVenture bringing thousands of visitors to the area this week, the Fond du Lac Police Department is increasing patrols around local hotels and motels.

Officers, both in marked and unmarked vehicles, will focus on deterring criminal activity, including drug-related offenses and human trafficking.

Police say the effort is designed to keep both residents and visitors safe throughout the week.
