Fond du Lac Police Investigates Exchange Of Gunfire Between Vehicles

City of Fond du Lac Police are investigating a report of gun shots Saturday night, October 29, 2022, near the intersection of Macy and Follette Streets.

According to police, calls started coming in just before 11 PM reporting people in two vehicles were shooting at each other.

The vehicles involved were described as a dark SUV and a smaller light colored car.

Upon police arrival to the scene, both vehicles involved had fled the area.

No injured people were located, but officers did find an extended capacity handgun magazine loaded with ammunition, laying in the middle of the roadway.

Police continue to investigate this incident.
