Fond du Lac Police looking for “Person of interest” in suspicious death

***UPDATE*** The City of Fond du Lac Police released a statement at 3:45 PM saying they would like to thank all of our community members and followers who shared the social media post, provided tips and information within the last hour.  This afternoon, with the assistance from the City of West Bend Police Department, Annaka Winter Trudell was taken into custody without incident in West Bend. Although this is a significant development, this investigation remains ongoing and very active. No further information is being released at this time.

Fond du Lac Police have announced they have a person of interest in the suspicious death of a 33-year-old female in the city Tuesday night, February 13, 2024.

They say the investigation remains ongoing, very active, and a priority for the City of Fond du Lac Police Department. There has been significant developments and new information from interviews, tips, and reviews of various video recordings.  The department cannot go into a level of investigative specifics at this time to protect the integrity of their investigation, however there is information to share for community awareness.

The Fond du Lac Police Department is releasing the following information following the completion of family notifications.  The deceased 33-year-old female was identified as Ashley Ann Calo (D.O.B. 12/18/1990) from West Bend.

Investigators have developed a person of interest based on investigative leads and tips and has entered a temporary Felony Warrant for Annaka Winter Trudell (D.O.B. 11/27/2003). If you have information of her whereabouts contact the Fond du Lac County Communications Center at (920) 906-5555.  Do not attempt to apprehend this person.
