Fond du Lac Police Release Name Of Woman Found Deceased

The Fond du Lac Police Department has released the name of the 51-year-old woman that was found deceased under possibly suspicious circumstances Saturday.

According to police logs, the incident started as a check welfare call shortly after 8 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at a multi-family house 2 blocks east of Main Street.

Police located Jacquelyn Jo Rooney deceased in the residence and detectives from the police department were called to investigate what may have led to her death.

The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy on the woman to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
