Fond du Lac Police update to June 23, 2026 shooting death

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, a 26-year-old Fond du Lac man, who was previously identified as a person of interest in this investigation, was taken into custody in connection with this incident.

The individual has cooperated with Officers and Detectives throughout the investigation. He is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a charge of Second-Degree Intentional Homicide.
