Fond du Lac School District Announce New Filled Positions

Three new hires have been announced within the Fond du Lac Public School system.

Alexandra Garcia-Bankowski has been named as the Principal at Sabish Middle School, starting July 1, of this year. She has been serving as an assistant principal at Fond du Lac High School since the fall of 2021. Garcia-Bankowski began her educational career in 2014 at West Allis Central High School as a Social Studies and AVID teacher.
In 2019, she became South Milwaukee High School’s Dean of Students and moved into the Associate Principal role for the 2019-20 school year.

Brooke Kilian has been named a Fond du Lac High School assistant principal, starting July 1. Kllian is currently serving as the district secondary education coordinator for the
Campbell County School District in Gillette, Wyoming where she has been for the last three years. Kilian has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a
Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Business Education from Black Hills State University. She also has an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Director of Special Education and Building Level Administration from Arkansas State University.

And Michael Blaskowski has been named as Assistant Principal at Sabish Middle School, effective August 9, 2023. Blaskowski comes to the district after serving as a Technology and Engineering teacher for the last eight years at West Bend East High School. Blaskowski was the head of the technology education department and a member of the high school building leadership teams.
In addition to his educational experience, Blaskowski served as a part-time law enforcement
officer for the Washburn County Sheriff’s Department as well as with the Spooner, Shell Lake and Cumberland police departments for a little over a year.
