Fondy Football Fans Raise Nearly $4,600 for Schueffner Family in Wake of Tragedy

The fans attending last Friday’s Fond du Lac football game at Fruth Field
raised $4,572 for the family of Trent Schueffner. The school communities of Fond du Lac High School
and St. Mary’s Springs
Academy came together in
honoring the life of the Springs football player who died in a tragic hunting
accident on October 19^th. 

Fans purchased “Glowing for You 62” glow
in the dark necklaces to raise funds for the Schueffner family – with green being
visible around the field and in the player tunnel prior to the game. Following
the game, Fondy football players formed a 62 behind the bleachers in a final
farewell. 

The Cardinals host the Sun Prairie Cardinals in a Level 3 WIAA
playoff game at Fruth Field at 7:00pm Friday night.
