Fondy High A.D. Tabbed As New Principal
The Fond du Lac School District announced Wednesday (3/9/2022) that Dave Michalkiewicz will be recommended to the Board of Education as the Principal for Fond du Lac High School starting in the 2022-23 school year.
He was selected for the role after the District posted and interviewed for the position. Michalkiewicz has been serving as the Athletic Director and Physical Education Coordinator for the school since 2015.
Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, Superintendent of the Fond du Lac School Disctict said, “I am excited to recommend Mr. Michalkiewicz as the next Principal of
Fond du Lac High School. Mr. Michalkiewicz understands the importance of improving the culture and academic outcomes at Fond du Lac High School, and I am confident he will hold high expectations for our staff and students.”
Michalkiewicz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broad Field Social Studies with a minor in Secondary Education from Edgewood College. He earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.
In 2005, Michalkiewicz began his educational career as a middle and high school social studies Teacher and Athletic Director in the Belmont Community School District. He joined the Fond du Lac School District in 2015 as the Athletic Director and Physical Education Coordinator.
