Fondy HS’s Allen Announces Verbal Commitment to Wisconsin
One of Fond du Lac High School’s top football players is
set to become a Badger
Braelon Allen, who is entering his junior season with the
Cardinals, announced he is verbally committing to the University of Wisconsin
on his Twitter account Tuesday night.
Allen made the announcement after releasing his “top six”
schools last Friday – which included Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State,
Notre Dame and Florida State, along with Wisconsin. Allen also had a
scholarship offer from the University of Iowa.
Allen recorded 48 tackles, six tackles for loss, four
sacks and three interceptions during the 2019 season, primarily playing
defensive back. He also recorded six rushing touchdowns on the offensive side
of the ball last year.
Allen is rated as a four-star athlete by the recruiting
site 247 Sports, and joins the Wisconsin recruiting class of 2022.
