Fond du Lac came out with two goals in the First period on a Blake Spies Backhander over the goalies shoulder and a nice shot in the slot from Parker Ziebell to make it 2-0. The Cardinals would strike twice in the second period as well with goals from Parker Ziebell and Blake Spies again. In the third period Emilio Lopez would add an insurance goal to give FDL the 5-0 victory. Lucas Zimmerman would record the shutout win for the Cardinals.
