Food Drive Collects Over 4,000 lbs

The recent food drive held at Redeemer Lutheran Church for the Fond du Lac Food Pantry was nothing short than a huge success. Heidi Borgwardt from Redeemer telling KFIZ News they more than doubled their goal of 2,000 pounds, collecting more than 4,000 pounds. Borgwardt also said they had a 35% return of the bags that were distributed, with almost 90 volunteers from start to finish. In a time where there’s often not much “good news” to report, it’s great to see a community come together to help others.
