Forest Mall In FDL Features American Legion Display

The Forest Mall in Fond du Lac is the proud new home of an American Legion display that recognizes local citizens who served our country. The display is located in the Kohl’s wing of the mall. The group behind the display is the Veterans Education Program, a branch of the American Legion that began five years ago, and holds events for Veterans Day in November and Flag Day in the spring. The display, which will rotate monthly, currently features memorabilia from a local family whose members have served in four separate conflicts, spanning the last century. Items include uniforms and medals from different branches of the armed services, including the navy and air force. “We are so proud to have the American Legion display in Forest Mall” said Tracy Vassallo, General Manager at Forest Mall.
