Former FDL Sex Offender Pleads To Charge

A 22-year-old Hartford sex offender with a history of non-compliance pled no contest Monday to the latest charge he faces. Jacob Schwendimann entered the plea in Fond du Lac County Court to a charge of registered sex offender intentionally photographing a minor without consent. A sentencing hearing hasn’t been scheduled yet.  He was released in October of 2008 after being convicted as a minor of four sex crimes in Washington County. Schwendimann moved to Fond du Lac after his release, but moved several times after that without notifying authorities including some time in Ohio where he was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In 2010 he was sentenced to three years in prison for failing to provide authorities information about those moves. He is currently at Dodge Correctional in Waupun.
