Former Ripon Fire Chief pleads guilty to using department credit card for personal reasons
The former Ripon Fire District fire chief that was charged for using the department credit card for personal use, was fined Monday in Fond du Lac court.
Timothy Saul pled guilty Monday to three misdemeanor counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. He will now have 60 days to pay $3,000 in fines for using the card.
Saul was facing numerous counts after a criminal complaint stated he used the fire department’s credit card for bills, baseball games, and hotel visits.
The balance on the card at one point was $36,000.
