Fox Lake Murder Suspect Seeking New Counsel

The 37-year-old Fox Lake man suspected of murdering his girlfriend is seeking new counsel again. Following his arraignment in Dodge County Court last week Laverne Ware Jr. informed his lawyers that he no longer wanted them representing him. Jonathon Smith and Steven Kohn filed a motion to withdraw from the case. Last December Ware’s 27-year-old girlfriend, Sesalie Dixon, was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head in the cab of Ware’s pick-up truck A two-week jury trial is scheduled for next April.
