Friday Morning Accident In Dodge County

On 04-10-15 at 9:15am, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a motor vehicle crash on Cth W at the intersection with Cth A in
the Township of Trenton.

Preliminary investigation shows that Jesus Ramos-Soto (18
years old, from Waupun, WI) was operating a 2002 Ford Explorer north
on Cth W approaching the stop sign at the intersection with Cth A.  The Explorer went into a clockwise spin and
traveled into the intersection where it overturned and continued to roll into a
farm field.

There was one passenger in the vehicle (Guillermo Amaya-Cruz,
24 years old from Waupun) and he was extricated from the vehicle by the Beaver
Dam Fire Department.  Amaya-Cruz and
Ramos-Soto sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and were transported
by Beaver Dam Paramedics to Beaver Dam Hospital,
but were later flown by MedFlight helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison. 

Assisting at the scene was: 
Beaver Dam Fire Department, Beaver Dam Paramedics.

Alcohol and speed are factors in the crash, however, the
crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation
