Fugitive Caught In Fond du Lac
A Fond du Lac man that has been on the run from law enforcement since December 1, 2022 is finally in police custody today.
Anthony Tynan was a suspect in a million dollar meth ring that was broke up in late November of last year.
In a December 1 press conference, local law enforcement announced the drug bust and announced that 7 of 10 suspects were in custody with three still on the run. One of the three being Tynan.
Police have been concentrating in the area where Tynan was thought to be living in the City of Fond du Lac on Division Street and today around 3:35 PM, a Fond du Lac Police Officer spotted him on a bicycle in the area of Boardmann and Forest streets about a block from the suspects residence.
The officer attempted to stop Tynan but he took off on his bike.
Multiple city and county officers saturated the area and after about 10 minutes, he was spotted and taken into custody.
Tynan is the 9th of the 10 suspects in the drug ring to be taken into custody.
Dalton Wojtkiewicz was caught yesterday in Texas.
This leaves Jason Norton yet to be captured. If anyone knows where Norton may be, they are asked to contact law enforcement.
The drug ring is thought to be part of distribution of over 100 pounds of methamphetamine in 2022 in Fond du Lac County with an approximate street value exceeding one million dollars.
