Gas prices in Wisconsin reported down for the year as prices jumped overnight

The online driver’s education platform and app Zutobi has released its 2026 Global Gas Prices Report, analyzing fuel price changes across the U.S. over the past year.

The report states Wisconsin recorded the largest year-over-year decrease in gas prices nationwide.

The average price fell from $2.94 per gallon in 2025 to $2.48 in 2026, marking a nearly 16% decrease.

Despite the decline, prices are still 33% higher than in 2006

The news comes on a day when gas prices jumped .28 cents in the Fond du Lac area from $2.36 per gallon to $2.64 per gallon.
