Gas prices rise after three weeks of declines

After three weeks of steady declines, gas prices are back up near $3.00 Thursday, June 19, 2025, in most of the area after reaching as high as $3.09 per gallon earlier this week.
Fond du Lac County’s average price per gallon of gasoline right now sits at $2.99, .11 cents above last week’s $2.88.
Sheboygan County’s average saw a rise of .19 cents as many stations there are still sitting at $3.09, and Winnebago County is up around .11 cents at an average just above $3.00.
According to the website gasbuddy.com, the cheapest gas in Fond du Lac County is on the southwest side of Fond du Lac where a couple gas stations are at $2.88 per gallon.
The state average is up ten cents to $3.04, while the national average jumped six cents to $3.18.
