Gille’s Latest Business To Uncover Fake Bill

It seemed a bit odd when they ordered $7 worth of food, and paid with a $100 bill. The bill itself didn’t feel right, so the car hop took the bill back to her manager, and they both realized it was a fake $100 bill. 

The latest attempt at passing a fake bill occurred Tuesday evening at Gilles on South Main St. in Fond du Lac. Police were called to Gilles just after 7 p.m. Tuesday night, and when they interviewed the person who tried passing the fake bill, the 24-year old male said he had received the bill from another acquaintance. Gilles was not out any money, but the investigation is continuing.
