Going To The Brewers Opening Day Game? Here Are Some Tips
It’s opening day for The Milwaukee Brewers and if you’re going to the game, here are some things to consider that can make the experience a little more enjoyable.
The game starts at 1:10 PM but you’ll want to give yourself plenty of time to deal with traffic getting to the stadium.
Parking may be purchased in advance or on the day of game while space is available. Payments on the day of game should be made with a credit card. Parking passes are date specific so make sure to purchase and bring the correctly dated parking pass. Parking for opening day ranges from $15 in the general admission lots and $20 in preferred lots if bought in advance. Paying for parking when you get there will run $20 for general admission lots and $40 for preferred.
Tailgating space is available in the Uecker and Yount Lots.
Fans may not exit and re-enter the stadium using the same ticket.
American Family Field is cashless at most of the concession stands and at all retail locations and portable kiosks. Cashless payment options include credit/debit cards, Brewers Gift Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or pre-paid cards.
And finally if you want to save yourself some money, an option not many people know… You can carry in one bottle of water or soda up to 32oz in size and one food item
such as a wrapped sandwich or bag of chips. The bottled beverage must be sealed from the store so no dumping half the soda out and filling it back up with Jack Daniels.
