Governor Evers Makes Stop In Oshkosh – Plans To Attend Biden/Milwaukee Visit Labor Day

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is kicking off his statewide “Back To School” tour today with a stop in Oshkosh.

The governor will visit educators and school staff as they get ready to start the 2022 school year at Roosevelt Elementary School
in Oshkosh at 12:30 p.m.

The Oshkosh stop will be one of three stops for Evers today. He starts the day in Madison at Leopold Elementary School at 10:30 AM and heads to La Crosse after Oshkosh to Northside Elementary School at 2:45 PM.

Evers also is planning to join President Biden as he makes a stop in Wisconsin on Labor Day at the Milwaukee event “Labor fest” which takes
place at Maier Festival Park.

Every year, labor unions and union members of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council put on the festival on the Milwaukee Lakefront.

Labor Fest is free and open to the public.
