Green Lake County Accident Leaves One Person Dead, One Injured

A Wednesday evening accident in Green Lake County leaves one person dead, and one person seriously injured. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Department received a call just before 9:00 pm regarding a crash on County Road A near Hickory Rd in the town of Mackford. Reports were that an SUV had collided with a self-propelled ag spreader. When deputies arrived, they found both vehicles in the ditch and rolled over. The 60-year old driver of the ag sprayer sustained minor injuries and did not need medical transportation. The 73-year old male driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 72-year old female passenger received serious injuries and was transported via helicopter. The crash is being investigated by the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
