Grothman Not In Support Of More Stimulus Plans

And as COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on consumers and businesses alike, Congressman Glen Grothman says he is not comfortable with a proposed second round of spending to check the economic damage of the coronavirus pandemic. He says the problem right now is people are  being cautious with their money.

Grothman says that with gas prices down, people driving less and more people working from home, you would normally see the dollars that are saved, being spent back into the local economy. But consumers are afraid to spend that money right now. The Sixth District Republican says the focus ought to be on making sure hospitals have enough equipment and then get people back to work. Grothman says “that will be enough of a stimulus.”
