Grothman penned Federal Fraud Prevention Workforce Training Act passes U.S. House of Representatives

The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed Representative Glenn Grothman’s bipartisan Federal Fraud Prevention Workforce Training Act.

The bill cleared the House with a bipartisan vote of 393–0 and is now awaiting consideration in the Senate.

The Primary Objective of the bill requires the Office of Management and Budget and the U.S. Department of the Treasury to establish a standardized, mandatory anti-fraud and improper payment training program for federal employees.

The training applies specifically to government employees whose roles involve the oversight or distribution of federal financial assistance and procurement programs.

The bill also would make these fraud-prevention training resources available to state and local government administrators who handle federal funds.
