Harley Sells Off Electric Motorcycle Division

Harley-Davidson’s electric motorcycle-maker is spinning-off into its own company.

Harley-Davidson is announcing plans to make LiveWire its own company. The new company is valued at just under two-billion dollars. Shareholders will own about 17 percent of it.

Harley-Davidson launched the LiveWire brand in 2019, to try to attract new, younger customers.
