Harris in Wisconsin for first campaign stop as Presidential candidate

Vice President Kamala Harris will be making her first campaign stop as a presidential candidate in Milwaukee today.
Harris was thrust into the position Sunday when current President Joe Biden announced he was withdrawing from the race, even as the presumed nominee for the Democratic Party.
Biden withdrew under growing pressure from within his own party to step out of the race due to cognitive issues.
Yesterday afternoon, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s Administrative Committee voted unanimously to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for President. She is expected to be named the party’s official nominee at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on August 19th.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Sunday he thinks Harris will be easier to beat in November’s election than Biden.
