Harry Did Not Envision Coming To FDL

You might say that the CEO and President of Fond du Lac County’s new economic development agency didn’t “Envision” coming to Fond du Lac. Cecilia Harry was working for an economic development agency in Fremont, Nebraska the past four years. Tom Schneider Co-Chair of Envision Greater Fond du Lac says they are thrilled Harry decided to apply for the top spot in the organization that came out of an alliance between the former Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce and the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation. He says they found someone who has a ton of passion for economic development and how she can change and make a difference in the community. He says she is well qualified and they love her enthusiasm and excitement. Harry says she wasn’t really looking for a new position, but saw the posting for the opening and was pleased with the research she did on the Fond du Lac area. She says she liked what she saw in terms of the business mix and what was going on in the community. She says she really likes the challenge of brining a new organization together. Harry starts her new job for Envision Greater Fond du Lac next Monday.
