Hartford man accused of using fraudulent identification to defraud Lomira banking institution

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 43-year-old Hartford man, accused of using fraudulent identification to obtain funds from a Lomira banking institution.
In July of 2025, the sheriff’s office received a fraud complaint in Lomira regarding the situation. The man was able to obtain checks totaling $160,000.00 from another individual’s home equity line of credit.
An investigation by deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Lomira Contract took place, and the suspect was identified and ultimately arrested. He is identified as Jesse Clingan of Hartford.
The investigation is still ongoing to determine if there are any other outstanding suspects. The sheriff’s office says no further information will be released at this time.
