Heavy Rain Reported

Thunderstorms led to heavy rain in the area overnight. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Sergeant Renee Schuster says there were some pretty good down pours, but the County for the most part escaped flooding that led to Flood Warnings in Calumet and Manitowoc Counties. The National Weather Service last night did issue a Flash Flood Advisory for the area. The heavy rain did lead to some localized street flooding in Fond du Lac. Some of heavier rain reported was about 3.25 inches in Oshkosh. In Fond du Lac County 2.7 inches of rain was reported in the Holyland and 2.4 inches in North Fond du Lac. There was even some pea-size hail reported near Rosendale.
