Another winter storm is approaching our area for tonight
and into the day on Monday. The National Weather Service says snow will begin
this evening and last into the day on Monday. Forecasters predict a widespread
6-10 inches of snow across southern Wisconsin, but the heaviest snow totals – 9
to 13 inches – will fall over an area of eastern Wisconsin that includes Fond
du Lac and Sheboygan counties. The latest forecast calls for seven to 10 inches
of snow tonight, with another one to three inches falling tomorrow. Following
the snow, dangerously cold temperatures move in, with highs below zero expected
for Tuesday through Thursday and wind chills to 40 below or greater in some
locations.
