Henschel and Ortegon Qualify for State Wrestling

Fond du Lac Senior Mason Henschel and Junior Quinton Ortegon both qualified for WIAA State Wrestling for their sectional victories over the weekend. Henschel will enter as a 10th seed in the Division 1 – class and will take on 7th seeded Jacob Kidder out of Hartford Union on Thursday at 2pm. Ortegon who is making his second trip to state will be a 7th seeded taking on 10th seeded Jackson Zolper out of New Berlin Eisnerhower also at 2pm on Thursday in the Division 1 – 285 class. The Wrestling State Championships take place at the Kohler Center in Madison.
