Highway 67 Project Starts Today

State Highway 67 will be closed and detoured for a box culvert project near Long Lake that starts today. The project will create a Long Lake Box Culvert on Highway 67 in the Town of Osceola and restore fish habitat. Highway 67 will be closed and detoured from Boy Scout Drive to Lakeview Road until mid-November 2017. Property owners will have access to their homes. The work during the project will improve the stream’s natural characteristics and flow dynamics of the tributary to Long Lake, and will enhance fish and wildlife movement. Fish spawning habitat will be restored as part of the project as well.
