Highway T Crash

On October 25^th, 2014, at 5:44am the Fond du Lac
County Communications Center received a 911 call regarding a 2 vehicle crash
with injuries, truck vs. farm tractor, on CTH T in the Township of Lamartine.
Responding to the call were Fire Departments from Lamartine, Oakfield and North
Fond du Lac, along with North Fond du Lac Ambulance and Deputies from the
Sheriff’s Office. As a result of the accident, a 51 year old rural Waupun man,
driving the pick-up truck was transported to St. Agnes, then air lifted to Froedtert
Hospital with serious injuries. He was the only occupant of the pick-up. The
operator of the farm tractor, a 40 year old rural Fond du Lac man, was not
injured and the only occupant of the tractor. Preliminary crash investigation
data, indicates that both vehicles were east bound on Hwy T, when the pick-up
rear ended the tractor. Names of the operators are withheld at this time. The
crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
