Highways 151 and 55 to close in Calumet County for culvert repairs

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers signed a $4.21 million contract to improve eight structures on US 151 and WIS 55 between the South County Line to the north village limits of Stockbridge in Calumet County, Wisconsin. Construction begins on Monday, August 18 to fall 2026. This is a two-year project with a winter shutdown beginning in November 2025. Portions of WIS 55 and US 151 will have road closures and detours during construction and open to traffic during winter shutdown.
Lunda Construction Company from Black River Falls, Wis. is the Prime Contractor.
