Hit And Run In FDL Results In Arrest

A hit and run early
Saturday morning in Fond du Lac
results in the arrest of one person. FDL PD received a call just before 2:30
a.m. Saturday morning, when a homeowner in the area of 19^th and Vine St. was woken
up by a loud crash. The caller looked outside to find a vehicle had hit a tree
and shrubs near Buttermilk
Creek Park.
The caller said the truck headed east
bound from the scene, and following a search of the area, officers located a
truck nearby that was disabled, and had heavy front end damage. Police arrested
a 21-year old male on charges of OWI, 1^st offense. There were no
injuries reported as a result of the accident.
