Hobbs Woods, Other Parks To Close As Of April 10

Following the Emergency Order #5 issued by Governor Tony Evers, prohibiting mass gatherings of 10 or more people that was put in place March 17, it’s been announced that Hobbs Woods will close to the public as of April 10, The announcement was issued by the FDL County Executive’s Office and announced by Terry Dietzel, Fond du Lac County Land Information Officer. 

The closing will remain in effect until further notice. In addition to Hobbs Woods, Columbia and Waupun Park Campgrounds are also closed to comply with the Fond du Lac County Public Order #3 that was issued on April 7. Other areas of the parks, as well as all other county parks and trails will remain open to the public, if users are complying with the State Emergency Order #5.
