Holiday Automotive Promotes new COO from Within

Holiday Automotive President and CEO Michael Shannon, Jr has announced the promotion of Willie Beyer as the auto retailer’s new Chief Operating Officer.

“Willie is a well-known and seasoned automotive professional with our company who is ready for the next level,” stated Shannon. “His overall operational knowledge, leadership skills, and work ethic are exceptional. Willie has a strong commitment to our team members and consistently prepares them to create positive experiences for each of our guests.”

Beyer’s familiarity with Holiday Automotive began in childhood when he’d visit the dealership with his father, Dick Beyer, Holiday’s Service Manager. Willie’s first role was in his high school days dating back to 1999 when he washed cars at Holiday. Since 2010, Willie has advanced through roles including Service Advisor, Service Manager and most recently Vice President of Service, Parts and Collision Repair. His leadership style reflects Holiday’s strong ties to being a family-oriented operation, the organization’s local roots and deep regard for its team members, and its passion and track record for exceptional guest care.

“As Chief Operating Officer, Willie will continue to lead our exceptional teams of service and after-sales professionals,” Shannon continued. “I am confident in his abilities, and I look forward to working closely with him as he continues to advance our business.”

Holiday Automotive, a Mike Shannon Automotive company, is a full-service, family-owned auto retailer based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The company was founded in 1959 and enjoys a reputation as one of Wisconsin’s highest-performing dealerships in sales rank and customer satisfaction.
