Home Sprinkler Demonstration

The Fond du Lac Fire Department will demonstrate this morning how a home sprinkler system can make a difference during a fire. Saturday morning Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County will dedicate their latest home at 141 Hamilton Street. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says it the third Habitat home to include a home sprinkler system. The Fire Department, J.F. Ahern Company and National Fire Sprinkler Association teamed up to install the sprinkler system in the home. A press conference will be held at 11 a.m. at the home site and a short time after there will be a side-by-side sprinkler demonstration a block east at the cul-de-sac of Hamilton Place.
