Hot Pink Haired Shoplifter Caught Hiding In Bushes

Fond du Lac County law enforcement were involved in a short manhunt… or actually womanhunt Monday evening May 22, 2023, after they were called for a report of a woman with bright pink hair and wearing a sundress, shoplifting at Wal-Mart on Rolling Meadows Drive in Fond du Lac.

City of Fond du Lac Police were called to the area shortly after 7:30 PM, and after reports of the woman fleeing on foot to the north of Scott Street, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office deputies as well as more Fond du Lac Police Officers started to form a perimeter in the area while County K-9s were called in to track the woman. A North Fond du Lac Police Officer also was seen on the north end of the perimeter.

After a short track by a K-9 officer, the woman was found hiding in the bushes in front of WG&R Sleep Shop at 615 north Rolling Meadows Drive.

According to police chatter on the scanner, unopened makeup and yogurt was found in the woman’s bag. Police were working with Wal-Mart to see what was taken by the woman.
